‘Developed India by 2047…’, Amit Shah’s first reaction on Nirmala Sitharaman’s budget speech

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the full-fledged budget (Union Budget 2026-27) for the ninth consecutive time on Sunday (1 February 2026). Many big announcements were made during this period. Home Minister Amit Shah has reacted after the announcement of the budget. He posted on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote that this budget has been prepared keeping in mind all the sectors from manufacturing to infrastructure, from health to tourism and from villages to cities. He said that youth, women and farmers have been kept at the center in this budget, so that they can move forward and play an important role in the development of the country.

The Home Minister also said that the developed India budget will work to bring the light of development to every village, every town and every city. Be it rural areas or modern technology like Artificial Intelligence, this budget reflects the thought of taking every sector forward. From sports to religious places and pilgrimages, it has new possibilities for every sector. Amit Shah especially emphasized that this budget has been made keeping in mind the goal of making India a developed nation by 2047. He said that a clear roadmap for the coming 25 years is visible in this budget, which will give the country the right direction to move forward.

In his message, Amit Shah congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for this budget. He said that this budget strengthens the hopes of every Indian and is a big step towards making the country self-reliant and empowered.
