Dgca new directs: There is a good news for air travelers. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has given some guidelines related to all airlines passengers on Monday. According to this, whenever you book a ticket for an airline, you will be given complete information about your rights and facilities through SMS or WhatsApp.
So DGCA took this step
According to the DGCA instructions, all airlines will have to ensure that online link of passenger charter available on the website of the Ministry of Civil Aviation will have to be sent through SMS or WhatsApp immediately after ticket booking. This link will contain all the information related to the rights of the passengers to the rules and grievance redressal.
DGCA has also told that this information related to the rights of passengers should be mentioned prominently on the airline website and tickets. Due to this, passengers traveling by air will have to do the details of the rules related to baggage, as well as many other important things will be mentioned.
Let us know that this new directive of DGCA came after reports of many big celebrities like David Warner, Harsha Bhogle as well as the incidents of airlines missing by the general public.
