Dhadak 2 CBFC Certification: Fans of Trupti Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi’s film ‘Dhadak 2’ are eagerly waiting. The film was earlier to be released in 2024. But now ‘Dhadak 2’ is going to come on screen this year. Earlier, the scissors of the censor board have gone on it, due to which the makers will have to make many changes in the film.
According to a report by The Hindu, the romantic-drama film ‘Dhadak 2’ has received a U/A16+ certificate from CBFC. However, the censor board has put 16 cuts in the film. In such a situation, some special scenes and words will be removed or changed from the film. With this, the total runtime of ‘Dhadak 2’ has been about 2 hours and 26 minutes.
These changes in ‘Dhadak 2’
- ‘Dhadak 2’ has a dialogue- is the work of religion which the censor board has replaced with the work of virtue.
- Dialogue- ‘The previous arrears of 3,000 years will not be fulfilled in just 70 years’ has been replaced by ‘the previous arrears of centuries-old discrimination will not be met in just 70 years’.
- The censor board has allegedly mute some caste abuses. The word ‘wild’ will be used instead of these words.
- The dialogue of the film ‘The roads of the riders … used to burn us’, have also been replaced by another line.
- CBFC has censored the chapter of the poem ‘Thakur Ka Kuan’ and in a song, the couplets of Saint Tulsidas have been replaced.
- There is a scene in the film in which a person will urinate on the character of Siddhant Chaturvedi. The censor board has reduced it to five seconds.
- In a scene, the onscreen father of the lead actor is humiliated, the censor board has also removed him from the film.
- The 20 second disclaimer has been extinguished to 1 minute and 51 seconds. At the same time, instructions have also been given to read this disclaimer loudly during the screening of the film.
