In the rescue operation, all the people including ITBP, SDRF, NDRF and local people are engaged in rescue operations. Yesterday 130 people were rescued. Search and rescue operations continue. The roads and some bridges have become difficult to reach the spot due to damage. The Disaster Operations Center at Dehradun is working 24 hours to provide all possible assistance. We are trying to evacuate all. I want to thank Prime Minister Modi for providing all possible help. Prime Minister Modi still took details of the rescue operation.

Earlier, the Chief Minister’s Office of Uttarakhand said in a statement- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today spoke to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on the phone and inquired about the recent disaster and relief and rescue operations in Dharli area of Uttarakhand district. Chief Minister Dhami told the Prime Minister that the state government is engaged in relief and rescue operations with full readiness. There are difficulties in some areas due to continuous heavy rains, but all the concerned agencies are working coordinated to provide quick assistance to the affected people. Prime Minister Modi assured all possible assistance from the central government.
