Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra is no more in this world. Dharmendra was ill for a long time, after which he died on November 24, 2025 at the age of 89. Now, three days after his death, the Deol family has organized a prayer meet for him today. Dharmendra’s prayer meet will be held today in Mumbai only in which only his family and close friends will participate.
Deol family is organizing a condolence meeting today for the peace of the soul of late actor Dharmendra. However, the family has decided to keep the prayer meet very intimate like the actor’s funeral. The invitation containing the time and venue of Dharmendra’s prayer meet was revealed. But keeping security in mind, the Deol family has appealed that those who have shared it publicly should remove it.
Hema Malini became emotional
After the demise of Dharmendra, today Hema Malini has remembered him by posting for the first time. While sharing unseen pictures with Dharmendra on social media, the actress wrote – ‘Dharam ji, he was a lot for me. A loving husband, doting father to our two daughters, Isha and Ahana, friend, philosopher, guide, poet, the most important person for me in every moment of need – in fact, he was everything to me! And have always been with me in good and bad times. By his easy-going, friendly demeanor, and always showing affection and interest to everyone, he endeared himself to all the members of my family.’
‘My loss cannot be compensated…’
Hema Malini further wrote- ‘As a public figure, his talent, his humility despite his popularity and his appeal made him a unique symbol among all the legends. His fame and achievements will always remain in the film industry. My loss cannot be compensated and the void created will last for the rest of my life. After years of being together, I have a lot of memories left to relive those special moments.
These stars had reached Dharmendra’s funeral
Let us tell you that Dharmendra’s last rites took place on 24th November at Vile Parle crematorium in Mumbai. During this time, Hema Malini and Esha Deol had come with moist eyes to pay their last respects. Sunny Deol had lit the funeral pyre for his father and his daughters had lit a lamp at the cremation ground. Apart from the family, big Bollywood celebrities attended Dharmendra’s funeral. From Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Govinda, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan to Shabana Azmi had come to bid him farewell.
