Let us tell you that by the morning of second Thursday it had defeated the lifetime collection of ‘Stree 2’ of Rs 627 crores. In the evening, along with the lifetime collection of Rs 646.31 crore in India of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, it has destroyed the record of lifetime collection of Rs 640.25 crore of Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Jawaan’. Now its next target is to beat the lifetime collection of RRR Rs 782.20 crore.
Now, there is only one Bollywood film ahead of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ in terms of highest grossing in Bollywood and that is the first part of this film. ‘Dhurandhar’, released in December, had set new records in the industry by earning Rs 895 crore in India. It is expected that ‘Dhurandhar 2’ will beat its prequel by the third weekend.
