Almost one and a half month has passed since the release of the action packed spy thriller ‘Dhurandhar’ but its fever is still running high among the audience. Even ahead of many newly released films, ‘Dhurandhar’ is making waves at the box office. Even after reaching the seventh week of its release, it continues to earn crores. With this, let us know here how much collection has ‘Dhurandhar’ made on the seventh Friday i.e. 43rd day of its release?
How much did ‘Dhurandhar’ earn on the 43rd day?
Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ is showing no sign of slowing down its pace despite facing tough competition from many regional, Bollywood and Hollywood films at the box office. Directed by Aditya Dhar, this film has continued to earn well in theaters for a much longer period than the generally released films. Even till the 43rd day, the film is still printing crores of rupees in theatres. It has already become the highest grossing film of Bollywood. Although there has been a decline in its earnings and the film is now collecting in single digits, yet it is giving tough competition to the recently released films.
Let us tell you that on this Friday, Vir Das starrer ‘Happy Patel: Dangerous Jasoos’ and Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma’s ‘Rahu Ketu’ were released at the box office. Both the films tried to take a good start, but failed to beat the Friday (43rd day) performance of ‘Dhurandhar’. Along with this, if we talk about the collection of the film, ‘Dhurandhar’ had earned Rs 3 crore continuously in the last two days. However, its earnings declined due to tough competition from recently released films on Friday.
- According to Sacknilk’s early trend report, Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna starrer film earned Rs 1.65 crore on its 43rd day i.e. 7th Friday.
- With this, the total collection of ‘Dhurandhar’ in India has reached Rs 818.25 crore.
- Talking about the gross collection and worldwide business, the gross collection of the film from the domestic market is Rs 981.75 crore. Whereas its business from abroad was Rs 293.25 crore.
- With these figures, the total worldwide collection of ‘Dhurandhar’ after 43 days of release in theaters has become Rs 1275 crore.
‘Dhurandhar’ vs ‘Happy Patel Dangerous Detective’ vs ‘Rahu Ketu’
It is noteworthy that not one but two new films were released this Friday, ‘Happy Patel: Dangerous Detective’ and ‘Rahu Ketu’. Let us tell you that Vir Das starrer ‘Happy Patel: Dangerous Detective’ has earned Rs 1.25 crore on the first day of its release. Whereas Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma starrer ‘Rahu Ketu’ has collected only Rs 1 crore. In such a situation, 43 days old Dhurandhar has defeated even these new films.
