Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ rocked the box office at full speed continuously for 3 weeks and made its place in the top 5 in the list of top 10 films released so far in India. Now there is a new challenge in front of the film, after passing which the film can make a new record.
First let us know the earnings of the film till now and then we will know which is the challenge which is important for the film. Along with this, we will also know what are those things which show that this film will pass this challenge with ease.
Box office collection of ‘Dhurandhar’
The spy thriller action film made under the direction of Aditya Dhar did a business of Rs 207.25 crore in the first week and Rs 253.25 crore in the second week. The earning of the third week was Rs 172 crore.
The earning on the 22nd day was Rs 15 crore. Whereas today i.e. on the 23rd day till 4:15 pm, the film has collected a total of Rs 656.31 crore, earning Rs 8.81 crore. Please note that today’s data available on SACNILC is not final. There may be change in this.
Challenge named RRR in front of ‘Dhurandhar’
- According to the report of Saccnilk, Ram Charan and Jr NTR’s RRR is the fourth highest grossing Indian film with a domestic box office collection of Rs 782.2 crore. To break the record of this film, ‘Dhurandhar’ will have to earn Rs 123 crore more.
- Even though this figure of above Rs 100 crores seems big, but the speed of earning of ‘Dhurandhar’ gives hope that this record can be broken easily. RRR had earned this much in 10 weeks, whereas only 23 days have passed since Ranveer Singh’s film was released.
- If we compare the earnings of 23rd day, RRR had earned only Rs 5.95 crore in all the languages combined whereas ‘Dhurandhar’ is earning 3 times of this on the same day. That is, in the days when the earning speed of RRR had slowed down considerably, ‘Dhurandhar’ seems to be progressing rapidly.
Will ‘Dhurandhar’ break RRR’s record worldwide?
The worldwide collection of RRR was Rs 1230 crore and Ranveer Singh-Akshaye Khanna’s film has made a worldwide collection of Rs 1002 crore in 22 days. Along with the domestic collection of RRR, the worldwide collection is also under threat.
