After ‘Uri – The Surgical Strike’, Aditya Dhar returned to the big screen as a director after 6 years in 2025. On December 5, 2025, his spy-thriller film ‘Dhurandhar’ was released which created a stir at the box office. Ranveer Singh starrer film was successful in winning the hearts of the audience and it has earned Rs 840.45 crore at the box office in 35 days.

Now if the box office collection of ‘Uri – The Surgical Strike’ and ‘Dhurandhar’ is added, then the total becomes Rs 1084.51 crore. With this, Aditya Dhar has become the first director who has earned Rs 1000 crore with his first two films.
