The film has nothing to do with the life of Major Mohit Sharma. The board also said that there is no need to send the film to the Indian Army before its release.

The family’s concern about the operations and military tactics shown in the film was from a national security perspective. However CBFC did not accept it. The fans of the film have become very happy with this decision of CBFC.
