Well-known Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has recently appeared quite impressed after watching Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Dhurandhar’. Karan openly praised this film and said that this film forced him to question his own filmmaking abilities. Karan believes that this is one of those films which forces you to think.
Storytelling and direction won hearts
During a conversation at the book launch of Anupama Chopra’s book ‘Dining with Stars’, Karan Johar said that the biggest strength of ‘Dhurandhar’ is its storytelling.
The film does not seem over anywhere and every scene progresses in a very natural manner. He especially praised the film’s director Aditya Dhar and said that he did not try to show himself off with his direction but kept the story at the forefront.
Ranveer Singh’s strong performance
Karan also told that Ranveer Singh has done an amazing job in the film. He said that Ranveer’s performance is so strong that you are unable to take your eyes off him. The actor has completely immersed himself in his character which is clearly visible in every scene. The balance of action, emotion and drama seen in the film is what makes it special.
Educational film for filmmakers
Karan Johar admitted that when a film is made at this level, other filmmakers start re-evaluating themselves. He said that this is a good thing for an artist because it gives an opportunity to learn and gives inspiration to do better work in future.

Talking about ‘Dhurandhar’, the film is getting positive response from both the audience and the industry. The story, action sequences and music of the film are also being liked a lot. Many celebs have already praised the film and now Karan Johar’s name has also been added to this list.
