He held the post of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in Siliguri. Officials said that after assuming the post in Siliguri Police Commissionerate, Richa met senior officers and other members.
After India became the champion, BCCI had announced the prize money for the team. States had also announced cash amounts for their respective players. Cricket Association of Bengal had honored Richa Ghosh with Rs 34 lakh.
Richa Ghosh, who became DSP, will have the responsibility of leading police teams, handling law and order, crime control and overseeing various administrative works etc. Richa Ghosh’s salary will be around Rs 56,100 per month, although this is basic pay. Apart from this, many allowances are added on top. This will increase his salary.
