Digvijaya Singh on India Pakistan Ceasefire: Congress MP from Madhya Pradesh Digvijay Singh welcomed the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan on Saturday (May 10) and said that now the time has come, the neighboring country should stop sheltering the terrorists now.
According to the report of the news agency PTI, Digvijay Singh said, “The reason for increasing enmity between India and Pakistan is only one that Pakistan openly shelters terrorists. We appeal to the Prime Minister and the Government of Pakistan to appeal to the terrorists to stop raising the terrorists. If this continues to do so, whatever happened will happen again.” This was stated by Digvijay Singh in the context of the successful operation vermilion launched by the Indian Army.
Digvijay Singh congratulates Operation Sindoor
Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh, under ‘Operation Sindoor’, identified the terrorist training camp in Pakistan and its occupied Kashmir and congratulated the armed forces and intelligence agencies for accurate attacks there. He said, “The Indian Army targeted not only the civic areas but only terrorist bases. Congratulations to them for this.”
Earlier on Saturday, Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypt had announced that India and Pakistan have agreed to the ceasefire. From 5.00 pm on Saturday evening, the DG of India and Pakistan Military Operations has agreed to stop all kinds of firing and military action on land, air and sea.
Let me tell you, a day before this, Digvij Singh welcomed the statement of Himanshi Narwal, widow of Vinay Narwal, in which he said that the operation vermilion should be not the last but the first blow in the way of ending terrorism. Himanshi appealed to the government not to stop this operation here but make the beginning of this terrorism, because we want peace in our country.
