Famous places of the capital were illuminated with colorful lights and lamps. This Diwali, entire Delhi was decorated like a bride. Grand laser lights were installed at important places of the city – Red Fort, India Gate, Shri Gauri Shankar Temple, Gurudwara Shishganj Sahib, Connaught Palace.
On the occasion of Diwali, people visited these major places and enjoyed everything from drone shows to huge fireworks. With this, everything from markets, shops, houses appeared decorated.
India Gate illuminated with drone show
A grand scene was also seen at India Gate on the festival of Diwali. On this grand occasion, a wonderful display of Ram Katha was done through a drone show. The entire atmosphere of the show appeared devotional.
In this drone show, the journey of Lord Shri Ram from his exile to the killing of Ravana and then his return to Ayodhya was presented through colorful lights. The audience seemed mesmerized by this unique scene. Thousands of people present captured this emotional scene in their cameras.
Delhi lit up with earthen lamps
Tourist places and temples of the national capital have been illuminated with lights. For the first time, Delhi was illuminated with 1.51 lakh lamps. On the occasion of Diwali, a grand program of Deepotsav was organized in Delhi.
This event was inaugurated by CM Rekha Gupta. CM started the program by lighting the lamp. During this, the duty path was illuminated by lighting earthen lamps. Similarly, India Gate, Shri Gauri Shankar Temple, Gurudwara Shishganj Sahib and Red Fort were illuminated with grand lights.
For the first time, on the occasion of Deepotsav, the duty path in the national capital was decorated with earthen lamps. The entire area appeared drenched in the light of lamps. A large number of people were seen present in this event. During this, the area echoed with slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram’. CM Rekha Gupta congratulated everyone on Diwali on this wonderful event.
