dnp—-Bihar Politics: Nishant will be Deputy CM, Nitish Kumar will go to Rajya Sabha! Who is the CM of Bihar and from which party?

The last day for nomination for elections on five Rajya Sabha seats in Bihar is March 5. Before this, big news is coming from the state. Sources claim that Bihar Chief Minister and Janata Dal United leader Nitish Kumar can go to Rajya Sabha. Earlier, many leaders including Ashok Chaudhary, Vijay Chaudhary advocated for Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar.

A day before the nomination, there is information that Nitish Kumar can file nomination himself. Of the two seats on which JDU has to field candidates, Ramnath Thakur and Harivansh Narayan Singh are MPs.

Now if sources are to be believed, Ramnath Thakur can go to Rajya Sabha but there are chances of Harivansh’s ticket being cut. Nitish Kumar himself can go to Rajya Sabha in place of Harivansh. If sources are to be believed, Nitish Kumar is in no mood to back down from his words against nepotism and he himself can go in place of Nishant. If sources aware of the developments are to be believed, if Nishant goes to Rajya Sabha, he will also go only with the wishes of Nitish. It is believed that Nitish Kumar will give the final approval to Nishant going to Rajya Sabha.

The final decision on all these issues will be taken tonight i.e. by the night of 4th March.

If Nitish Kumar goes to Rajya Sabha then who is the CM of Bihar?

Now the important issue among these questions is that if Nitish Kumar goes to Rajya Sabha, then who will be the CM of the state? In fact, during Bihar elections 2025 itself, many leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party had said in response to the question of who will be the CM, that this decision will be taken in the legislative party meeting. Then as the elections got underway, during the elections itself, BJP leaders made it clear that Nitish Kumar was the face.

If we look at the election results of the year 2025, BJP has 89 MLAs and JDU has 85 MLAs. If sources are to be believed, if Nitish goes to Rajya Sabha, then Nishant can come in his place in Bihar government or he can get important responsibility in JDU organization.

In such a situation, there is a high possibility that if Nitish Kumar goes to Rajya Sabha, then in his place there will be a CM of his choice. Now it will be interesting to see what turn the politics of Bihar takes after Holi?
