How long will Amrit Udyan remain open?
Amrit Udyan will be open for the general public from 3 February 2026 to 31 March 2026. People can visit here 6 days a week, while the garden will remain closed on Mondays. Apart from this, the visiting time is fixed from 10 am to 6 pm, while the last entry will be available only till 5 pm. Apart from this, different days have been fixed for some special categories in Amrit Udyan. Like March 3 has been fixed for defense personnel, March 5 for senior citizens, March 10 for women and tribal women self-help groups and March 13 for disabled people. During these days, people of the concerned category will be able to visit the garden with special facilities.
What are the rules for entry and booking?
Entry to Amrit Udyan is completely free, but online booking is mandatory. Tickets can be booked only through the official website visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in. This year the facility to book tickets on the spot has not been provided. Booking for any date will close at 10 am on the previous day, so it is important to book the slot in advance. The entry and exit of all visitors will be from gate number 35, which is near the intersection of North Avenue and Rashtrapati Bhavan. Free shuttle bus service will be available from Central Secretariat Metro Station to Gate No. 35. This service will run every 30 minutes from 9:30 am to 6 pm. Apart from this, the last shuttle bus will leave at 4 pm.
What is supposed to be taken to Amrit Udyan?
Keeping in view the security and arrangement of Amrit Udyan, there are strict restrictions on some things. There is a strict ban on carrying food items, paan, gutkha, cigarettes, backpacks, cameras and video cameras, arms and ammunition in Amrit Udyan. If any visitor violates these rules, he may be prevented from entering or may have to suffer loss.
What can you take to Amrit Udyan?
In Amrit Udyan, visitors can take with them mobile phone, electronic key, purse or handbag, water bottle, milk bottle for small children and umbrella. Facilities like drinking water, toilet and first aid will also be available in the garden premises.
