Let us know what is the rule for this.
What is the rule of resignation withdrawal?
According to the assembly membership rules, if a member resigns from his post, he is not valid until he is accepted by the Speaker. The House has to inform this after the Speaker accepted the resignation of any member. Rules say that if an MLA withdraws the resignation by the Speaker of the Assembly, his membership remains intact and he can remain in office.
What happened in the case?
