NoM wrote in the letter, “I am writing to inform you that the certification of the entry program of Harvard University and the admission program of educational exchange has been canceled with immediate effect.”

What will happen to 788 Indian students?

According to Harvard’s official records, 500 to 800 Indian students take admission here every year. At the same time, about 6800 students from all over the world reach here. This year 788 Indian students took admission. Now in such a situation, the problem of these students is going to increase. Foreign students have been asked to either enroll in another institute and lose their legal status in America. Therefore, Indian students will have the option of admission to another institute. If they do not do this, then you may have to leave the US.

What will happen to the existing students studying in Harvard

There is a relief news for the students who have completed the existing semester in Harvard. They will be able to complete graduation. Christie NoM, Secretary, Department of Internal Security (DHS), mentioned this in his letter. He has written that the changes made by the Trump government will be applicable from the school year of 2025-26.
