Congress spokesperson Pawan Kheda criticized the Central Government on Wednesday (July 30, 2025) for the claim of US President Donald Trump repeatedly arbitration of ceasefire between India and Pakistan, while India has categorically denied any US involvement in it.
This statement of Kheda came a few hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement in Parliament, in which he said that no leader of the world had asked India to stop the operation vermilion.

Pawan Kheda compared Trump to the snake in a post on X and said that Prime Minister could easily refute Trump’s statement, but he did not do so. He wrote, “Trump is wrapped like a snake around Modi and yesterday Rahul Gandhi gave him a great opportunity to get out of this mess. He just had to say that Trump is lying about the ceasefire”

‘Modi is allergic to considering Rahul’s advice’
According to a report by news agency ANI, Kheda alleged that Modi deliberately ignored the advice of the Leader of the Opposition, which gave the statement of Trump to aim. He said that Modi is allergic to considering Rahul’s advice and today the snake is back, beating the horoscope more tightly than ever, the bitter truth in Modi’s ears is having fun.

This comment came a day after Congress MP Rahul Gandhi challenged the Prime Minister to publicly dismiss Trump’s claim during a debate in the Lok Sabha on Operation Sindoor. Rahul Gandhi said that Trump had claimed 29 times that he helped the ceasefire between India and Pakistan and asked PM Modi to clarify whether these statements were true or lies.
