America has declared the Muslim Brotherhood organization a terrorist. This organization has been declared a terrorist organization in Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan. America is intensifying its action against anti-Israel countries. America’s Secretary of State Marco Rubio has given a statement. In this, he said that these announcements represent the initial action of the Muslim Brotherhood chapter’s ongoing efforts to stop the violence and instability. No matter where they are.
He said, ‘The United States will use all available means to deny resources to these Muslim Brotherhood chapters for engaging in or supporting terrorism.’
After these announcements by America, it has now become illegal to give any kind of help. They have also been banned from entering America. Also, many types of economic restrictions have been imposed to stop the revenue.
What is Brotherhood organization?
This group was founded in 1928 by the Egyptian Muslim scholar Hassan Al Batra. The Muslim Brotherhood has many branches throughout the Middle East. These include political parties and social organizations. In these they express their commitment to peaceful political participation. The Muslim Brotherhood chapter in Lebanon is represented in the Lebanese Parliament. It is known as Al Jama’a Al Islamia.
In 2012, Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood won the country’s only democratically held presidential election in 2012. However, President Mohammed Morsi was removed after a year. He died in jail in 2019.
