Why won’t Apple bring iPhone 19 series?
Apple will launch the iPhone 18 series in 2026. Next year i.e. in 2017, it will be 20 years since the launch of the first iPhone. On this special occasion, Apple will skip the iPhone 19 series and launch the iPhone 20 series. Apple has made complete preparations to make the iPhone 20 series also special. For the first time in this series, a phone with full display will be available. According to the latest reports, there will be no cutout like dynamic island or notch on the screen of iPhone 20 Pro, nor will there be any bezels on it. Pro models will be launched with full screen and when viewed from the front, a single piece of glass will be visible like Apple Watch.
Apple has done this before too
This is not going to be the first time that Apple has skipped a series. In 2017, on the occasion of completion of one decade of the launch of iPhone, the company did not launch the iPhone 9 series. Skipping this series, Apple launched the iPhone 10 series directly after the iPhone 8 series. Continuing this trend, Apple may launch 20 series instead of 19 series in 2027.
