During the budget session of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, a heated argument was witnessed amid the discussion on the demands for grants of the Panchayati Raj Department. During this, PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasara raised the issue regarding wrong delimitation in Panchayati Raj.
Besides, he also raised questions regarding ‘One State One Election’. During the discussion, when Govind Dotasara asked, “Whose milk does Kirori ji feed in the branch?” So in reply Kirori Lal Meena said – ‘Rani Lakshmibai’
On this Dotasara said, “Kirori Lal Meena is a saint. Don’t worry, you will get what you did but I am with you.” Govind Singh Dotasara said while taking a dig at Madan Dilawar.
‘We were taught patriotism in the Sangh’- Kirori Lal
Meanwhile, Kirori Lal Meena stood up and said, “You are authorized to say anything, but we have learned patriotism in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh branch. Our job is to serve the nation and strengthen it. We do not run after position.” Kirori Lal further said, “We used to sing songs there. The ultimate goal of the path is not the throne, the journey is taking the entire society with us, the life is moving forward.”
‘Chandrashekhar-Bhagat Singh were fed milk’- Kirori Lal Meena
Govind Singh Dotasara asked Kirori Lal Meena, “When you used to go to the branch, were you given buffalo milk or cow milk?” Kirori Lal Meena said – Rani Lakshmi Bai is fed milk there. On this Govind Dotasara said – ‘The matter is not settled.’
Then Kirori Lal Meena said – There they are fed the milk of Tejaji, Chandrashekhar, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru, Tilak, Sardar Patel.
Debate on cow and buffalo milk
Govind Singh Dotasara said- He is our folk deity. We also do puja, but first test whether our Panchayati Raj and Education Ministers grew up drinking cow’s milk or buffalo’s milk? Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel objected to this and said which debate is this a part of? They are saying anything and the Chairman is giving permission.
PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasara said- Modi and Amit Shah also take the name of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee District Upliftment Scheme, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. You consider him an ideal. You kept a provision of Rs 500 crore in the budget 2025-26 and the expenditure in this upliftment scheme was zero rupees. Why did you defame the name of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee?
Chief Minister Thar Area Scheme, Chief Minister also went there. There was a budget provision of Rs 150 crore in 2025-26 and the expenditure was Rs 12.67 crore.
Dotasara also spoke about delimitation
In the House, PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasara said that wrong delimitation was done in the state in the name of Panchayati Raj. By changing the names and headquarters of Gram Panchayats without changing the basis, huge disparity was created in the population of the wards.
Government could not fulfill the promise of ‘One State, One Election’
Dotasara further raised questions on the government and said, “The government is declaring itself incapable of conducting elections in the court. Even the promotions of officers and employees and the DPC are not happening. The schemes of the 15th Finance Commission could not be started online. Accused of removing the elected public representatives. The officers were accused of working under the pressure of the government. Accused of weakening the Panchayati Raj system. The public will answer to the government, “The public knows everything.”
