Majnu ka tila murder case: A heartbreaking incident has come to light on Tuesday (July 8) in the Majnu Tila area of North Delhi, where a 22 to 23 -year -old woman and a 6 -month -old girl were brutally strangled to death. The young man who murdered is said to be the co-life-life of the woman.
The woman was originally from Uttarakhand, who was separating from her co-life-life Nikhil (accused) and living with a friend’s family. The accused has been identified as Nikhil, who was angry with the breakdown of this relationship and that is why he took a dreadful step.
The mother of the deceased girl informed the police
According to the police, the incident was reported on Tuesday (July 8) at 1:30 pm when a woman called a PCR and told that her daughter and friend had been murdered in her own house. At that time, the woman, who gave information, went to pick up her 5 -year -old daughter with her husband from school. On returning, the door of the house was found open and she was shocked to see the inside view. The body was lying in a blood -soaked condition inside the room.
Why did the accused kill a 6 -month -old girl?
Investigation has revealed that the deceased used to live with Nikhil earlier, but due to quarrels and troubles, she left her and started coming to her friend’s house. Nikhil was very angry with this change and on July 8, he got angry and killed the woman as well as his six-month-old girl. Police officials believe that the accused murdered the girl just because she was the daughter of the deceased’s friend, who was supporting her.
Accused Nikhil absconding, case registered in police station
At present, the accused Nikhil is absconding and the police have formed several teams to search for him. The bodies have been sent for post -mortem and the forensic team has been called to investigate the scene. A case has been registered under the sections of murder at the Civil Lines police station and CCTV footage is being investigated, so that the activities of the accused can be detected.
