Dr n john camm case: The ‘fake’ cardiologist of the Missionary Hospital in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh has been accused that seven people have died after being treated. Madhya Pradesh Police has registered an FIR in this case.

Officials said that the police lodged an FIR against the accused Dr. Narendra Vikramaditya Yadav alias John Cam on Sunday midnight on the complaint of Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) MK Jain of Damoh district.

At the same time, a team of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) will also reach Damoh and camp there by Wednesday to investigate the matter. At the same time, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has also shown strictness in this matter and said that strict action should be taken.

What is the allegation on Doctor John Cam?
In the complaint, Jain alleged that Dr. Cam had cheated patients in Mission Hospital without registering in Madhya Pradesh Medical Council. There is no registration on the doctor’s medical documents, which appears to be prima facie suspicious. It has been said in the FIR that no doctor in Madhya Pradesh can provide services without registration in Madhyam Pradesh Medical Council.

After the letter of the District Collector, a team of doctors also investigated the matter and the hospital management said that Dr. Cam had already left the hospital. According to the FIR, the hospital manager provided documents related to the doctor’s degree and the investigation team did not get the registration number of the medical council or university prima facie, which is usually in the documents.

The FIR states that according to the documents of the doctor concerned by the Mission Hospital, his medical registration certificate has been issued by the Andhra Pradesh Medical Council. According to this, but the name of Dr. Cam does not appear in registration on the official website of Andhra Pradesh Medical Council, so it seems suspicious at first sight.

In which sections the case was registered?
Sections 315 (4) (embezzlement), 338 (forgery), 336 (3) (making or changing electronic records with the intention of fraud), 340 (2) (forged documents and electronic records) and 3 (5) (when the same intention has been recorded by many persons.

According to the complaint lodged earlier by the local resident at NHRC, the person working in the hospital showed himself educated and trained from abroad using the name ‘Dr. N John Came’.

The complainant claimed that the real name of the person is Narendra Vikramaditya Yadav. The complaint alleged that he misled the patients by misusing the name of Professor John Cam, a famous cardiologist in Britain and the patients died due to his wrong treatment.

The complaint alleged that between January and February this year, many people died due to the treatment of an unqualified and unauthorized doctor in the cardiology department of Mission Hospital in Damoh.

NHRC statement
NHRC member Priyank Kanungo said in a post on ‘X’ on Friday that a case of untimely death of seven people has come to light at a missionary hospital in Damoh, where a fake doctor was operating patients in the name of treating heart disease.

According to the complaint, the said missionary hospital comes under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Yojana, so government money has also been misused. He said that MHRC has ordered an inquiry.
