Dr. Ramvilas Vedanti, associated with Ram Mandir movement, passes away, CM Yogi Adityanath expressed grief

Dr. Ramvilas Das Vedanti, the main architect of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement and former MP from Ayodhya, has passed away. He breathed his last during treatment in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep condolences on the demise of Dr. Ramvilas Das Vedanti, former MP and member of Ramjanmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.

CM Yogi posted on X and wrote – “The demise of Dr. Ram Vilas Vedanti Ji Maharaj, the main pillar of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement, former MP and revered saint of Vashishtha Ashram located in Shri Ayodhya Dham, is an irreparable loss for the spiritual world and Sanatan culture. Humble tribute to him! His passing is the end of an era. His sacrificial life dedicated to the service of religion, society and nation is an inspiration for all of us. It is a prayer to Lord Shri Ram that the departed Grant the blessed soul a place at your feet and the bereaved disciples and followers the strength to bear this immense sorrow. Om Shanti!”

Dr. Ram Vilas Vedanti is counted among the big faces of the Ram Janmabhoomi movement and while being an MP from Ayodhya, he strongly raised the voice for the construction of Ram temple from Parliament to the streets. Recently he has demanded from the Central and Uttar Pradesh governments to change the names of those roads in Ayodhya which are named after Muslim names.

Ram Vilas Vedanti had said while talking to IANS that a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram has been built. The saffron flag was also hoisted on the temple, the sentiments that people had preserved were presented in front of everyone on 25th November. He said that in Ram’s city there should be streets named after Ram and Ram’s ancestors. There should be streets here named after Raja Dilip, Raja Raghu, and Raja Dasharatha. Along with this, the street should not be named after any other opponent of Ram.
