The draft voter list of SIR in Rajasthan will be released shortly. According to information received from sources, out of 5.48 crore voters of Rajasthan, notices will be issued to 16.46 lakh voters. Most of these voters will be from Jaipur. Most of the notices and names will be removed from Jhotwara in Jaipur city, the assembly seat of state cabinet minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.
According to the information, forms of 68994 voters have either not been filled or they will be issued notices. The least number of names will be removed from Gudamalani of Barmer district. Here only 8018 forms are not filled or notice will be issued. Similarly, in the capital Jaipur itself, 63 thousand names can be removed from Sanganer, the assembly constituency of CM Bhajanlal Sharma.
27 thousand names may be removed from Vasundhara Raje’s constituency
57 thousand votes can be lost in Sardarpura of Jodhpur, the assembly seat of former CM Ashok Gehlot. There may be a problem regarding 27 thousand votes in Jhalrapatan of Jhalawar district, the constituency of former CM Vasundhara Raje. 14 thousand names may be reduced in Dudu assembly constituency of Deputy CM Premchand Bairwa.
BJP won by 6.73 lakh votes
The name change in Rajasthan also becomes very important because in the 2023 elections, BJP came to power by getting 6.73 lakh more votes. In the 2018 elections, the Congress party formed the government by securing more than two and a half lakh votes. State Chief Electoral Officer Naveen Mahajan can give information in a press conference at 5 pm.
When will the draft voter list be released?
According to information received from sources, the draft voter list in Rajasthan can be released any time after 3.00 pm on Tuesday (December 16). This can be seen on the website of the Election Commission. 16.46 lakh voters to whom notice will be issued will have to provide necessary documents. The state election officer says that those to whom notices will be issued need not worry at all. Their names will not be deleted if they provide the documents.
