DRDO Recruitment 2025 Apply for Scientist posts at rac.gov.in

This opportunity is especially for those youth who have completed engineering studies and want to do something big for the country. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting DRDO’s official website rac.gov.in.

The notification of this recruitment is likely to be published in Employment News in the first week of June. Applications can be made for 21 days from the date of issuance of notification. A total of 148 scientists posts will be filled under this recruitment campaign, including DRDO, ADA and posts for reserved categories.

For recruitment, the same candidates will be considered eligible who have first class Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Also, they must have a valid score of GATE exam.

Talking about the age limit, the maximum age of general and EWS class candidates has been kept at 35 years. This limit has been fixed 38 years for the OBC (non -creamy layer) category and 40 years for Scheduled Castes/Tribes.

Talking about the application fee, male candidates of General, OBC and EWS class will have to pay 100 rupees application fee, which will be submitted online. At the same time, the application for SC, ST, Divyang and all women candidates is completely free.

The selection process will be based on the GATE score. Candidates will be shortlisted and called for interview in ratio of 1:10. The final selection will be done on the basis of 80 percent of the GATE score and 20 percent of the interview.
