Mohanlal is in the lead role in Jeetu Joseph’s film ‘Drishyam 3’. There is a lot of excitement among the fans about this film. The makers have announced the release date of the film. Mohanlal shared a video from the third film of the hit franchise, in which he plays the character of a TV cable operator named Georgekutty. The Malayalam version will be released in theaters a few months before the Hindi version.

Announcing the release date of ‘Drishyam 3’, Mohanlal wrote, “Years have passed, the past has not changed, Drishyam 3 is releasing worldwide on April 2, 2026.” The video posted by him shows an old television set, a shovel, a submerged car, a mobile phone, a yellow bag, a CCTV camera and a script, all of which are key elements from the first two films. The video of this installment ends with the poster of the next film.
In the poster, Mohanlal is seen looking straight at the camera, with his wife Rani George (starrer by Meena) and daughters Anju and Anu (starrer by Ansiba Hassan and Esther Anil) standing behind him. The tagline of the film is, “The past is never silent.” Releasing the poster, the film’s official social media page wrote, “Every secret has a date. April 2, 2026 – the truth will be revealed.”

Drishyam 3 is directed by Jeethu Joseph and produced by Antony Perumbavoor of Ashirwad Cinemas. Jayantilal Gada of Penn Studios and Panorama Studios has presented the film. This is the third installment of the hit franchise, in which Georgekutty struggles to hide a deep secret from the police.
When will Drishyam 3 (Hindi) be released?
It was announced in December last year that the Hindi version of Drishyam 3 will be released in theaters on October 2. Abhishek Pathak is the director of this film and it stars Ajay Devgan, Shriya Saran and Tabu in lead roles. In the announcement video of the Hindi version, it was hinted that seven years have passed since the events of the first film. It is also hinted that the main character keeps struggling to save his family from being disgraced due to an untoward incident.
