The two leaders discussed various aspects of Indo-Pratgal relations as well as global and regional issues of shared interests.”

He further wrote, “The two leaders agreed that bilateral relations are based on mutual trust, understanding and cooperation on important issues including multilateral levels. They agreed to further strengthen long -standing relations in many fields including business and investment, IT, renewable energy and connectivity.”

In addition, in Slovakia, President Murmu will hold bilateral meetings with President of the country Peter Palegini and Prime Minister Robert Fico. This will be the first Slovakia visit of a President of India in 29 years.

This state visit of the President will provide opportunity to strengthen and comprehensive bilateral relations between India, Portugal and Slovakia and also strengthen the relations of the India-European Union.
