Dyal Singh Evening College affiliated to Delhi University has released the official notification for the recruitment of non-teaching staff. This notification has been issued on 28 February 2026. A total of 7 permanent posts will be filled in the college through this recruitment.
Many important non-teaching posts have been included under this recruitment process. These include posts like Senior Personal Assistant, Assistant, Junior Assistant and Library Attendant. All posts are permanent, that is, selected candidates will get regular appointment. According to the college administration, appointment to all the posts will be done on the basis of qualification and experience.
Date and method of application
Eligible candidates can apply online from 28 February 2026 to 21 March 2026. Applications will be accepted only through the dedicated recruitment portal of University of Delhi. Forms sent through offline application or any other means will not be valid.
Qualification for Senior Personal Assistant
For the post of Senior Personal Assistant, it is mandatory for the candidate to be a graduate. Along with this, there should be at least 3 years of experience as PA or Stenographer. In stenography, the speed required is 120 words per minute for English or 100 words per minute for Hindi. The typing speed should be 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi.
Essential conditions for the post of assistant
To apply for the post of Assistant, the candidate must be a graduate. Also, there should be at least 2 years of experience in Junior Assistant or any similar post. The typing speed has been set at 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi. Apart from this, good knowledge of computer is also mandatory.
Qualification for Junior Assistant
Graduation degree is also necessary for the post of Junior Assistant. The candidate must have knowledge of operating a computer and must meet the prescribed typing speed. Experience is not mandatory for this post, making it a good opportunity for new candidates.
Eligibility for Library Attendant
For the post of Library Attendant, the candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination. Also, there should be a certificate course in Library Science from a recognized institute. General knowledge of computer applications is also considered necessary for this post.
How much application fee will have to be paid
The application fee has been fixed for Dayal Singh Evening College Recruitment 2026. General and unreserved category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 800. Whereas for OBC (non-creamy layer), EWS, SC, ST, PWD and women candidates, the application fee has been kept at Rs 600. This fee will not be refunded and payment will have to be made through online mode only.

To apply, candidates must first visit the recruitment portal dunt.uod.ac.in. There one has to register as a new user with a valid email ID and mobile number. After registration, enter the portal with the help of login ID and password. After this, fill your personal information, study related details and other important information carefully in the application form.
