Delhi university ug admission: The process of admission in UG program in Delhi University has not been completed yet. Actually, more than 9 thousand seats are still vacant in the UG program in the university. To fill these seats, DU has started nomination of physical spot mop-up rounds. For the spot mop-up round, the application process has started from 17 September i.e. Wednesday. Under this process, students can apply to take admission in DU till 11:59 pm on September 19.
According to the seat matrix released by DU, a total of 9,194 seats are vacant. Of these, 2,136 seats of OBC category are vacant, while 1,439 seats of general category, 1092 seats of SC, 1,528 seats of ST, 1,248 seats of EWS, 1,263 seats of PDBD, 246 of Sikh category are 246 and 246 and Christian category are vacant.
Who will get an application for application?
In this admission round of Delhi Union, the same students can apply, who have not taken admission in any college till now. Students who have already taken admission will not be able to apply. At the same time, while applying, students will have to submit the necessary documents along with their profiles. Admission will be canceled if incomplete information or wrong document is found. Students who are not registered on CSAS (UG) -2025 portal for admission in Delhi University, can register by depositing a payment of Rs 1000. Students who have already taken admission will not be able to join this round up.
What is the admission process?
The university will start short listing from 23 September after the completion of the application process in Delhi Union. On the basis of seat and merit, the selected candidates will be sent an invitation letter via email. The date and time of reporting will also be given in it. Candidates will have to appear personally in the university themselves at the scheduled time. No representative will be allowed in this. The Mop-up round of Delhi University is said to be more beneficial for those students who did not get admission in the first round.
