Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired two review meetings on Tuesday to take stock of the security situation in the national capital and other parts of the country in the wake of the blast near the Red Fort. Amit Shah held a meeting in the morning and chaired another meeting in the afternoon. He said that instructions have been given to arrest each and every culprit behind this incident.
‘Each culprit will have to face consequences’
Home Secretary, NIA DG and officials of investigating agencies were present in this meeting. The Home Ministry has handed over the responsibility of investigating this blast to NIA. The Union Home Minister warned that every criminal will be brought to justice. He said, “In the review meeting with senior officials, instructions were given to search for the culprits. All those involved in this act will be given the harshest punishment.”

Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat also participated in this meeting through online medium. During the meeting, top officials gave information on the situation after the blast. The Home Ministry has also handed over the investigation of the blast to the NIA. This is a clear indication that the government has considered this blast as a terrorist act, because NIA has the authority to investigate only terrorist cases.
NIA is doing Delhi blast investigation of
The death toll in this blast has increased to 12. The Home Minister has said that top investigating agencies are investigating the blast and they will get to the bottom of the incident. Delhi Police on Tuesday (November 11, 2025) registered an FIR under UAPA in connection with the explosion near the Red Fort and conducted raids at several places in Delhi. The driver of the car which exploded on Monday evening allegedly had links with a Faridabad-based terrorist module.
