Dhankhar was shifted to a private farmhouse

About one and a half months after resigning from the former Vice President, a bungalow has been demanded from the government to allot a bungalow. Sources gave this information on Monday. Sources said that the former Vice President has written a letter to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs requesting them to provide ‘appropriate’ government houses. The former Vice President shifted to a private farmhouse located in Chhatarpur area of ​​South Delhi last week from VP Enclave. This farmhouse is of Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) leader Abhay Chautala.

No government bungalow found yet

According to sources, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has not yet allotted any bungalow to the former Vice President. He told that a decision will be taken soon on this. Sources said that the 34 number type-eight bungalow is ready on APJ Abdul Kalam Road in Lutyens Delhi and it can be allotted to the former Vice President, but no final decision has been taken so far in this regard.

Resigned from the post of Vice President on 21 July

Sources said that if he refuses, the ministry can provide him with another house. Dhankhar resigned as Vice President on July 21, citing health reasons. His sudden resignation shocked everyone.
