Early detection of brain cancer is difficult because many of its symptoms resemble a normal headache. This is the reason why people do not take them seriously in the beginning. The real difference lies in its pattern, intensity and other accompanying symptoms.

Persistent or increasing headaches If you experience these symptoms, common headaches can be controlled with rest and medication, but if the pain returns frequently and gets worse over time, it could be a warning sign. Such pain often comes with vomiting or nausea and is not relieved even by medicines.

If a brain tumor puts pressure on the optic nerve or visual processing area, it can affect the ability to see. Symptoms may include blurred vision, double vision or sudden blurred vision. Many times these changes happen gradually and people ignore them considering them as normal fatigue.

Having a seizure for the first time in an adult is considered a very serious sign. Tumors can disrupt many brain functions, causing symptoms such as tremors in some part of the body, convulsions in the entire body or difficulty in speaking for a few seconds.

The effect of brain cancer is visible not only on the body but also on mental ability and behavior. If the tumor is in the frontal lobe or other parts, it affects thinking, decision-making ability and mood control. Things like irritability, sadness, anxiety or frequent forgetfulness can indicate this.

Due to pressure on the cerebellum or motor-control part of the brain, the body’s balance can get disturbed. This includes frequent stumbling, dizziness, inability to walk properly or weakness of hands and legs. If these symptoms are seen in only one part of the body, it may indicate the presence of a tumor.

Most headaches are minor and temporary, but if the pain feels different, comes repeatedly and is accompanied by these unnatural symptoms, then do not take it lightly. It is very important to consult a doctor in time and get tested, because only early detection can make treatment easy and effective.
