An earthquake of 6.2 magnitude occurred in the western part of Japan on Tuesday. The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) said that the epicenter of the earthquake was located in the eastern region of Shimane Prefecture. According to the agency, no tsunami warning has been issued after the earthquake. At present, no immediate information about loss of life or property has been received.
