Earthquke in Telangana: Komaram Bhima Asifabad district of Telangana caused a 3.8 magnitude earthquake on Monday. The National Earthquake Science Center gave this information. The Center said the tremors of the earthquake were felt at 6:50 pm. According to official sources, there is no news of loss of life and property due to earthquake. Meanwhile, around 6.47 pm, residents felt mild tremors for a few seconds at various places in the city of Karimnagar. Some residents claimed that the earth moved with a loud voice and at that time the city received rain with strong winds.
A Karimnagar official said that he has no official information about the earthquake in Karimnagar. The media reports said that in some parts of the Nirmal and Manchurial districts of the state, light tremors were felt for a few seconds. According to the National Center for Sisamology, the center of earthquake was 10 km below the earth. However, due to this, no immediate report of any kind of damage or injuries has been received.
Earthquake shock was also felt in Pakistan
India was the third country to hit the earthquake on Monday. Earlier in the day, a 4.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Pakistan at 4 pm. According to NCS, its center was 10 km below the earth. However, in this too, no information has been received about any casualty or property loss. Such mild earthquakes can be more dangerous because they release energy close to the surface of the Earth, which often trembles the ground.
Earthquake in Taiwan
Another incident caused an earthquake of 5.9 magnitude on the east coast of Taiwan. According to Taiwan’s meteorological administration, the earthquake came at a depth of 6.6 km, about 30 km from the beach. The earthquake shook the buildings in the capital Taipei, but no immediate report or injury was reported. Please tell that Taiwan is located near two tectonic plates.
