Earthquake tremors were felt in two South American countries Argentina and Chile. According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the intensity of the earthquake has been measured at 7.4 on the Richter scale. This shock came under the sea, which also felt a stir in the surrounding areas. People living close to the southern end of the country have been asked to vacate their area and move to safe places.
Chile President Gabriel Borik said in a post on X that the coastal areas have been instructed to vacate.
