Why does an earthquake come?
The biggest cause of earthquake is tectonic plates present below the Earth’s surface. The outer layer of the earth is divided into many large plates, which continue to be dull from their place. When these plates collide together, climb on top of each other or suddenly slide at some place, a large amount of energy comes out. This energy spreads outside as seismic waves and we feel shaking the earth. Apart from this, volcanic eruptions, explosions in underground mines or cracks inside the earth can also cause earthquakes.
These precautions can be avoided during earthquake
Earthquake tremors can come anytime and anywhere, in such a situation, vigilance and caution is the biggest defense. The earthquake should not be nervous first. The people inside the building immediately go under the strong table or bed and cover the head and body and stay away from the doors and winds. Do not use the lift and resort to the stairs to reach the safe place.
If you are out at the time of earthquake, then stand away from buildings, electric poles, bridges and big trees and stand in an open space. At the same time, the people driving the vehicle are advised to stop the car immediately, but do not stop under the bridge or overbridge.
