Railway station photoography ban: Eastern Railway has urged all bloggers and YouTuber to take detailed photos of the stations under its jurisdiction in the interest of national security nor make videos of them. Railways have taken steps arrested for spying for Pakistan, keeping in mind the Jyoti Malhotra case of Haryana.
Eastern Railway said that the officials concerned will increase the surveillance and ensure that no one could take detailed pictures of important stations. A spokesman for Eastern Railway said, “Ban on taking pictures or videos of station premises and platforms is applicable. Now we have decided to increase surveillance with emerging conditions and security alert across the country. ”
‘Security cannot be compromised’
The official said that some bloggers or YouTubers try to create a ‘video blog’ of railway stations, which is very worrying. He said that restrictions are applicable in all sections and mandals, but some people do not want to follow the guidelines. He said, “We are requested to all the bloggers and YouTuber not to do such activities anymore. Security cannot be compromised, so this ban was necessary. ”
Under which circumstances will be allowed?
The spokesperson said that if the media or news channels have to do coverage of a program, then special permission can be found for this, but ordinary citizens are not allowed to take photos of station or campus or make videos. He reiterated that such restrictions are already applicable but in view of the current situation, it is necessary to strictly follow them. Therefore, it is being repeated again and is being implemented strictly.
