
Candidates can easily apply online by visiting the official website ecgc.in. The last date to fill the form is 02 December, while on 06 and 07 December, candidates will also get the opportunity to make corrections in their application form.

The minimum age of the candidates applying for these posts has been fixed at 21 years and maximum age is 30 years. Age relaxation has been given to reserved categories, which includes 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for disabled candidates.

According to educational qualification, the candidate must have a postgraduate degree in Hindi or English subject. Apart from this, other qualifications given in the notification will also have to be fulfilled. It is mandatory for all the candidates to follow the rules related to qualification.

The application fee varies depending on the category. The fee for General, OBC and EWS candidates is higher, while the fee for SC, ST, Divyang and women candidates is lower. Complete fee details are available in the official notification.

The selection process will be completed in two phases, first there will be an online written examination, in which 200 multiple choice questions will be asked and the time will be 140 minutes. Negative marking is also applicable in the examination, where one fourth marks will be deducted for giving wrong answers.

The written examination will include subjects like Reasoning, English, General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude. After successfully passing the written examination, candidates will be called for interview, on the basis of which the final selection will be made.

To apply, candidates have to go to ECGC website and click on Apply Online link. After completing the registration, fill personal information, upload documents and check all the information carefully before submitting the form. Finally, take a print out of the form and keep it safe.
