ED raid on I-PAC office, Mamata Banerjee reached the raid site, said- ‘Amit Shah should win Bengal from the elections…’

On January 8, 2026, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided the office of political consultant firm I-PAC in Kolkata regarding the coal scam. The house of I-PAC chief Prateek Jain has also been raided. This is being done in the case of red coal scam. Meanwhile, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also reached the spot of the raid.

Mamta said- action is being taken on the instructions of the Home Minister

I-PAC works for Mamata’s party Trinamool Congress (TMC). During the ED raid, Mamata Banerjee came out with a file of documents. He said, ‘Is it the job of ED and Home Minister Amit Shah to seize the party’s hard disk and voter list? This is a cheap and mischievous Home Minister, who is not able to protect the country. All this is being done deliberately to us. All this is happening at the behest of the Home Minister.

ED is seizing TMC’s documents

ED has also raided TMC’s IT cell. Mamta said on this action, ‘ED is taking away all the documents of my party. What will happen if I raid BJP’s party office? He is removing names of voters through SIR in West Bengal. In the name of elections, he is collecting all the information related to my party.

Mamta’s no entry in I-PAC office

According to sources, Mamata Banerjee is not being allowed to enter the I-PAC office. She is standing outside the building. The office of I-PAC is on the 11th floor of the building. Earlier, she had come out of Prateek Jain’s house with files and laptop. Mamta also targeted the Election Commission and said that names are not being allowed to be added to the voter list. People’s names have been deleted as part of the conspiracy.

BJP lashed out at Mamta

BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari’s statement on Mamata Banerjee has come to light. He has accused Mamta of obstructing the work of the central agency. He said, ‘Mamata Banerjee is violating the Constitution. She is interfering in the work of central agencies. If CM Mamta’s house is raided, Rs 100 crore will be received.

Demand for action against Mamta

Shubhendu Adhikari has demanded legal action against Mamata Banerjee. He said, ‘What Mamata did today was to obstruct the investigation. Why was the voter list found in the I-PAC office? Is I-PAC a party office? I challenge Mamata to conduct raids anywhere.
