On March 19, Jumeirah (Thursday), the altitude of the moon in India has become 5 degrees and the height has been 11 hours 56 minutes. It is 4 degrees in Burma, 4 degrees in Bangladesh, 4 degrees in Nepal, 5 degrees in Karachi, 5 degrees in Peshawar, 5 degrees in Iran and 5 degrees in Afghanistan. The moon is visible at 10 degrees and here it is 4 or 5 degrees, so the moon will not be visible on Thursday, March 19.

Moon may be visible on March 20, 2026

Maulana says that, on Friday, March 20, 2026, the altitude of the moon in India is 18 degrees and the age is 35 hours 57 minutes. It is 17 degrees in Burma, 17 degrees in Bangladesh, 18 degrees in Nepal, 18 degrees in Karachi, 19 degrees in Peshawar, 19 degrees in Iran and 18 degrees in Afghanistan. Here the moon is much more than 10 degrees. Therefore, the moon will be visible on 20th March and will remain for a long time and on 21st March, Inshallah, there will be Eid-ul-Fitr in all these countries.

Eid in Saudi on 20 March 2026

Maulana says that, if we talk about Saudi Arabia, Eid-ul-Fitr is written on Friday, March 20, 2026. The age of the moon here on March 19 is 14 hours 8 minutes and is 6 degrees high. The moon is not visible in 6 degrees. But for 30 years, their system has been that if the moon is present on the Makkah Mukarma matla even for 1 minute, then they bring the testimony before Maghrib and announce it. Here the moon is 6 degrees and 30 minutes, 30 days of the month are also being completed, so Eid can be celebrated in Saudi on 20th March. Let’s see what happens next?
