Only half a day has passed since the film released on the big screen on the occasion of Diwali and it has broken 5 records at the box office. ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ has given a massive defeat to the opening collections of all Harshvardhan Rane’s films till now.
‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ is making huge collections at the box office after its release. Sacknilk has released the initial collection figures of the first day of the film. According to this, Harshvardhan Rane’s romantic film has collected Rs 4.72 crore so far (till 4 pm). With this, ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ has become the biggest opener of Harshvardhan’s career.

‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ has left behind the opening day collections of all Harshvardhan Rane’s films till date. Earlier, the film ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ was the actor’s biggest opener, earning Rs 4.25 crore on the first day of re-release. Whereas ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’, when released for the first time in 2016, was able to earn only Rs 1.3 crore on the opening day.

On the opening day, ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ has beaten the opening day collection of total 5 films of Harshvardhan Rane. This list includes ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ (4.35 crores- re-release) along with ‘Savi’ (2.05 crores), ‘Paltan’ (1.50 crores), ‘Dange’ (15 lakhs) and ‘Tara vs Bilal’ (11 thousand).

‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ has clashed with Ayushmann Khurrana’s horror-comedy film ‘Thama’ at the box office. Despite this, the film has succeeded in maintaining its dominance. However, in terms of collections, ‘Thama’ is ahead of Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa’s film. While ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ has earned Rs 4.72 crores so far, ‘Thamaa’ has so far done a business of Rs 13.01 crores at the box office.
