Shabnam Khatoon, daughter of the deceased, told that cousin brother Mohammad Ayaz had committed the murder. The daughter says that some time after her father left the house, Ayaz also followed him. He had threatened to kill me earlier also. The ongoing dispute within the family is believed to be the reason for this murder.

DSP gave information about the case

Patna City DSP Gaurav Kumar said that the police had received information that a dead body was lying at Bengali Tola turn. The police team reached the spot and the body was identified as Mohammad Raees.

Prima facie the matter seems to be a family dispute. The accused has been identified and he has also been arrested. Police say that the entire matter will be revealed soon.
