Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting with Bihar BJP leaders in Delhi on Wednesday (September 03, 2025) regarding the 2025 assembly elections. Bihar BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal gave information about what happened in the meeting. Opposition has also been discussed in this meeting.
Regarding the meeting, Dilip Jaiswal said, “BJP’s Union leadership, Home Minister Amit Shah, National President JP Nadda and National Organization General Secretary called a meeting in Delhi. There was a detailed discussion on the upcoming assembly elections. The confusion that is being created by the opposition, was also discussed.”
Bihar BJP president said that earlier we had run NDA workers’ conference at district level in Bihar, which had got good success. Due to this, the rocky unity of the NDA came out. We have started the assembly NDA workers’ conference, so the instructions have been received from the central leadership that it should be done in a good way with all the leaders of the NDA. It has to be organized in all the assembly. It has to be done in every assembly by 25 September.
Decision taken to form election campaign committee
He said that it has been decided to form an election campaign committee in Bihar for the upcoming assembly elections. Election-promotion will also be inaugurated by the Election Campaign Committee. Along with this, it was decided that an election committee will be formed which will sit in Patna with the assembly of different districts for the selection of candidates. Will sit with the core committee of the district there and will discuss about the candidate there. The Election Committee will again take a decision and send a list to the central leadership.
What did Dilip Jaiswal say on seat sharing?
Dilip Jaiswal said that election comes from another state as in -charge. For separate Lok Sabha which will have six or seven assembly seats, then one will be made in-charge who will camp there. They will take care of the election strategy. Instructions have been received in the meeting that a further campaign is to be carried out with the leaders of the NDA coalition. In response to a question, he said that there was no meeting for seat sharing today. The case of seat sharing is of the central leadership.
