Elon musk on trump tarrif: The recipe of US President Donald Trump has created a stir in the markets around the world due to the reciperoch policy policy. Tesla CEO Elon Musk has given a big statement amidst the ongoing controversy over this policy. On Tuesday (April 8), Musk attacked the White House Senior Business Advisor Peter Navarro and described him as a fool.
Alan Musk, a close aide of the President, has openly opposed the tariff policy. He has also targeted Peter Navaro, who described Tesla not only the ‘car making company’ but a ‘car -adding’ company.
Musk’s response to Navaro’s string
According to the AFP report, Peter Navarro recently taunted Alan Musk, saying that Tesla has ordered parts like battery, electronic goods and tires from outside and Musk always wants cheap foreign parts. On this, Musk also gave a befitting reply. She criticized Navaro on social media platform X and wrote, “Tesla sells vehicles made in America the most. Navarro is more stupid than bricks sacks.”
Alan Musk shared an article of Kelly Blue Book on social media, which states that most parts of Tesla’s vehicles are made in America.
Peter Navarro said on CNBC on Monday that Trump wants the manufacturing industry to be carried forward again in the US. He said, “If you look at our auto industry today, we have become a assembly line for German engines and transmission. But we will reach soon in the situation where America will again make goods itself, increase wages and also increase the profits of companies.”
Musk criticized tariff policy
Even before the dispute with Peter Navaro, Alan Musk expressed his displeasure over Trump’s tariff policy. On Monday, Musk shared a video, in which famous economist Milton Freedman was praising the free market. This was a gesture of Musk’s tariff policy.
Musk recently appealed to Trump to change the tariff policy, but Trump refused to accept it. Musk wants America to be made a zero tariff zone i.e. a business area where nothing is taxed on anything. Musk said during a conference in Italy that America and Europe should adopt zero tariff policy. He described Trump’s tariff policy as impractical.
