The news of firing between terrorists and special operations team (SOG) team has come to light in Birantub area of Kandi police station area of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. According to Zonal Police Media Center, Jammu, joint teams of police, army and CRPF have reached the spot. The entire area has been surrounded. Security forces have intensified the search operation. It is believed that 2-3 terrorists are hiding in the area.

Security forces were informed of the presence of terrorists, after which a search operation was started by siege to the area immediately. The encounter took place near Baji Saheb Durbar located on Bravi Link Road in Kalakot area. This place is about 95 km from the Line of Control (LOC).
