In an email, Epstein described the party as spectacular, which reportedly included LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman and PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel. In the pictures surfaced, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are seen sitting face to face at a dining table. Epstein himself e-mailed this photo in 2015.
Musk had made it clear a few weeks ago that he had never attended Epstein’s party. The latest revelations in the Epstein files show that even after being convicted, Epstein had relations with many big personalities. However, there is no evidence that he was involved in sex trafficking and sexual crimes. Epstein was convicted in 2008 of trafficking minors for prostitution.
The California dinner party was mentioned in an email a day earlier (August 2) between Epstein and celebrities, along with CBS News employee Peter Attia. Epstein asked Attia, “Where are you? On August 20, 2015, Epstein sent a letter to Tom Pritzker, a Democrat and cousin of Illinois Governor JB Pritzker. She described the party as “very exciting”. Hoffman denied any involvement with Epstein and his crimes. However, he admitted to meeting Epstein and expressed regret. The LinkedIn co-founder clarified that these meetings were only regarding raising funds with MIT.
He tweeted, “I only knew Jeffrey Epstein through a fundraising relationship with MIT, which I deeply regret…The victims of Epstein’s disgusting and despicable actions have a right to all the information they seek, and I call on US President Donald Trump to make that information available to them.”
