Husain Haqqani G7 Comment: Former Pakistan Ambassador to America Hussain Hakkani has reacted strongly to some media institutions and noise on social media for not calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the G7 Summit.
Hussain Haqqani posted on X (East Twitter) said that those who understand the big picture already knew that the Prime Minister of India would be invited to the G7 conference. He wrote, “Those who understand the big picture, they knew that the Prime Minister of India would be called to the G7 meeting. But some people make noise on small things on media institutes and social media and forget the real issue.” Haqqani was gesture towards those who were questioning not calling PM Modi earlier. He wrote that people do not see a big picture on social media and make a noise from the side picture.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the G7 Summit to be held in Canada this month. The conference will be held from 15 to 17 June in Kananaskis city of Alberta province. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney invited Prime Minister Modi to attend this conference, which he gladly accepted.
What did PM Modi say at the invitation to attend the G7 conference?
PM Modi said in a post on X (first Twitter) that he spoke to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and wished him a victory in the election and accepted the invitation to attend the G7 conference. He wrote, “Both India and Canada are lively democratic countries, between which there are strong public relations. We will further support cooperation on the basis of mutual respect and shared interests.” Prime Minister Modi’s presence at the G7 conference will further strengthen India’s global role.
