According to a report published in the Times of India, Rohit Sharma will be present at the Center of Excellence of BCCI on 13 September, where his fitness will be tested. He will stay here for 2-3 days and will also practice for the ODI series against the upcoming Australia. Now the process of Yoyo Test is outdated, BCCI has implemented the Bronco Test to check the fitness of the players.

What is Bronco Test?

In Bronco Test, players have to do shuttle running, that too without break. The player will run a shuttle of 20 meters, 40 meters and finally 60 meters, he will not get any break between them. One set has three races and players have to set five such sets. In clear terms, they have to run 1200 meters without stopping and they have to complete this race within 6 minutes to pass. Through this test, the player’s stamina, conditioning and speed of his body is also tested.
